Standard information:
- All production takes place at our headquarters in Kingman, KS.
- Work hours are 7am - 4pm.
- Our environment is fast-paced and you will be on your feet for long periods.
- We strongly enforce all safety and cleanliness requirements of the equipment used in our production.
Lacking the required skills or experience? We will train the right person who shows an interest in learning, a desire to build the best trailers in the industry and wants to be part of a great team.
Welding
Our welders are required to assemble and weld metal in a batch manufacturing environment, working in a small team, where each trailer will vary from the previous.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Know how to use a MIG welder
- Be able to understand engineering drawings
- Have a strong attention to detail
- Be able to lift 50 pounds
The environment is dynamic and fast-paced. You'll need to be able to switch efficiently from project-to-project.
Finish Shop
Our finish shop workers are required to complete and QC check each trailer. Finishing a trailer requires a number of different skills - from wiring and electrical, to brakes, deck installation, and performance and quality testing of all systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be able to lift 50 pounds and understand engineering drawings.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Wiring the lights
- Running the brake lines
- Installing the trailer decking
- Installing specified tires onto each trailer
As the final step in quality-control, it is your responsibility to thoroughly inspect and test all completed trailers.
Painter
Our painters are required to handle all steps of the painting process for our full line of trailers. This includes:
- Initial prep
- Tape off areas not to be painted
- Paint the trailers using industry standard best practices.
The ideal candidate will have experience in an auto body shop, have great attention to detail and be willing to work in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to review and understand paint specifications and requirements for various trailers, and support standard and customer-requested color options.
